Civil Rights & Racial Justice

For nearly 100 years, the Urban League movement has advanced the cause of civil rights by working to eradicate barriers to equal participation in the economic and social mainstream of America. Essential to this mission is the cultivation of an active and well-informed Young Professional community, educated on the issues of the day and passionate about making its voice heard.

NULYP chapters exist, in part, to serve those less fortunate communities and protect them from racial injustices. Chapters are often on the front lines in their local communities, advocating for equal rights and supporting those who have suffered injustices.
